Position Overview

The Operations Supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting the management of fitness center operations to guarantee an outstanding "Judgement Free" experience for members while ensuring the club's financial success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of a high-performing team, including Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
  • Help maintain a friendly and inviting environment for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring that staff adheres to exceptional customer service standards.
  • Support Staff Management and provide assistance to the Club Manager as necessary.
    • Contribute to scheduling and supervising team members.
    • Oversee member service operations, ensuring that staff consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience.
    • Assist in addressing or escalating employee concerns or issues.
  • Engage in all front desk activities, including:
    • Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Addressing all member requests, issues, and inquiries.
  • Assist in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility.
  • Support the ordering of supplies while adhering to the club's budgetary constraints.
  • Help track statistics and generate reports (weekly, monthly, and annually).
  • Provide backup support for any team member who is absent.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service skills, ideally within the fitness sector.
  • Experience in a Member Service Representative role.
  • Strong supervisory, diplomatic, and listening abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Suite).
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, and energetic.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Current CPR Certification is mandatory.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Frequent communication in person or via phone during the shift.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
