Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the overall coordination of field operations and supervision of field personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between Field Supervisors, Laboratory staff, and Clients: Establish and maintain effective relationships with field supervisors, laboratory staff, and clients to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Client Order Management: Receive client orders, dispatch work to field staff, and follow up on job progress and reports to clients.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with company procedures for safety, field operations, and reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to supervisory personnel, including training and development opportunities.
  • Expense Management: Review and approve field expenses and equipment purchases.
  • Marketing and Business Development: Participate in local marketing efforts to promote SGS services and grow business.
  • Supervision and Performance Management: Supervise employees, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in the oil, gas, and chemical inspection industry, with two or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Availability: Ability to work all shifts, including extended or abnormal hours, as needed to meet business demands.
