In this position, you will be responsible for delivering emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation to individuals who are ill or injured, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and BELL Ambulance policies. We are seeking both Full-Time and Part-Time Advanced Critical Care Paramedics with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Paramedic role.

Your Contributions:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care by utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools based on thorough assessments.
  • Implement proper treatment protocols in accordance with internal and external guidelines.
  • Build strong relationships with patients, their families, and the healthcare community.
  • Uphold HIPAA privacy standards and maintain discretion with sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure seamless operations and quality patient care.
  • Document trips accurately and comprehensively, both clinically and demographically.
  • Conduct regular maintenance of the station and ambulance, focusing on safety.
  • Engage in the 'pit stop' process to ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available and in good condition.
  • Obtain and maintain all required licenses and training mandated by the State of Wisconsin for this role.
  • Exhibit safe operation of company vehicles, demonstrating knowledge of proper driving practices and response strategies.
  • Perform other essential job functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Current and valid State of Wisconsin Paramedic license with Critical Care endorsement.
  • Valid American Heart Association CPR certification or equivalent.
  • Current and valid Driver's License.
  • NREMT certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Paramedic capacity.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Exhibit tact, patience, and a positive demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Capable of safely lifting, pushing, or pulling a minimum of 125 pounds.
  • Meet fitness for duty standards as outlined by company policies, which may include medical and physical evaluations.
