About the Role

Bell Ambulance is a leading provider of emergency medical services, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and transportation. As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will play a vital role in our team, providing emergency and non-emergency medical care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care by utilizing diagnostic tools and treatment modalities based on assessment and internal/external protocols.
  • Establish strong relationships with patients, their families, and the healthcare community.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operation and quality care.
  • Document patient information accurately and completely.
  • Perform regular station and squad maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Participate in the 'pit stop' process to ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are present and in good working order.
  • Obtain and maintain all required licensures and training for the State of Wisconsin.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and demonstrate knowledge of proper driving procedures and response tactics.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Current/valid State of Wisconsin Paramedic license with Critical Care endorsement.
  • Current/valid American Heart Association CPR card or similar curriculum certification.
  • Current/valid Driver's License.
  • NREMT license desirable but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Paramedic role.
Additional Requirements
  • Perform with a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and possess tact and patience.
  • Ability to function productively in individual and team environments, and in potentially highly stressful situations.
  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 125 pounds safely.
  • Meet fitness for duty requirements set forth by Bell Ambulance policies, which may include a medical and physical evaluation.
