Job Description

Overview:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) is dedicated to providing extensive support to the Navy in areas such as research, development, testing, evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration, and certification of complex naval warfare systems. As NSWCDD continues to enhance its capabilities, additional professional and operational support services are essential for effective testing and certification.


Job Summary:

As a Cybersecurity Program Analyst, you will deliver essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of cybersecurity initiatives at NSWCDD.


Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in cybersecurity within a Department of Defense (DoD) or Federal Government context, including: managing compliance information on Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) and other tracking systems; providing technical consultation on various cybersecurity topics; reviewing and maintaining accreditation records; assisting in the preparation of cybersecurity reports; advising on the completion of Systems Authorization Access Request - Navy (SAAR-N) forms and similar documentation; and managing office supply orders.

Essential Duties:

  • Offer Local Registration Authority (LRA) and Trusted Agent (TA) support, including both technical and administrative assistance in the issuance and utilization of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates and tokens.
  • Ensure compliance information for NSWCDD is accurately maintained in systems such as the Vulnerability Remediation Asset Management (VRAM) database.
  • Develop and present training materials related to cybersecurity protocols.
  • Review, verify, and maintain records of accreditation.
  • Create ad-hoc reports that convey critical information security and cybersecurity data.
  • Input necessary data into required databases and repositories.
  • Assist in the review and verification of Systems Authorization Access Network - Navy (SAAR-N) Forms.
  • Gather information from cybersecurity personnel to prepare purchase requests for office supplies.
  • Review and provide guidance on requests for code-signing certificates.
  • Prepare for and participate in inspections, audits, and evaluations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with symmetric and asymmetric cryptography to effectively serve as a Local Registration Authority for NSWCDD.
