Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time Intermediate Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our cyber analysis and development capabilities, addressing the needs of the Navy and DoD for Cyber Situational Awareness, Command and Control, Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Intermediate Business Systems Analyst, you will:

  • Engage in agile development processes, participating in scrum ceremonies such as work item refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and PI planning.
  • Lead requirement analysis and algorithm evaluation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the program and legacy systems to maintain consistency in implementation strategies.
  • Facilitate discussions with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify business needs and translate them into actionable user stories.
  • Create wireframes to visualize functionality and maintain communication with the Product Owner to ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Develop dependency strategies at the user story level to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify necessary enablers during refinement sessions.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Tester to ensure product functionality meets defined business rules.

Algorithm Evaluation Duties:
Conduct analysis of business logic defined by end-users and existing documentation to inform system improvements.

Training and Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 30%, including potential for international travel, and the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • U.S. Citizenship and an active or Interim DoD SECRET clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in software engineering activities, including analysis, requirements gathering, design, coding, and testing.
  • Familiarity with collaborative tools such as GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience in creating process flows, use cases, and user stories.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including Docker, RedHat OpenShift, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience acting as a Proxy-Product Owner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a self-organizing team.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Visio and Project.

Desired Skills:
While not required, experience in custom software development, working with DoD clients, and cybersecurity projects is advantageous.
