Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time Intermediate Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting cyber analysis and development capabilities tailored to meet the Navy's and DoD's requirements for Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Intermediate Business Systems Analyst, you will engage in various agile development activities, including:

  • Participating in scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Leading requirement analysis and algorithm assessment efforts.
  • Facilitating discussions with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather domain knowledge.
  • Identifying and articulating business needs to the development team through user stories.
  • Creating wireframes to depict system functionality.
  • Maintaining communication with the Product Owner (PO) to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Coordinating with developers to identify necessary enablers for user stories.
  • Collaborating with the PO and testing teams to ensure product compliance with defined business rules.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • U.S. Citizenship and an active or Interim DoD SECRET clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in software engineering activities, including analysis, requirements gathering, design, coding, and testing.
  • Familiarity with collaborative tools such as GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience in creating process flows, use cases, and user stories.
  • Knowledge of development and security operations (DevSecOps), including Docker, RedHat OpenShift, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in a Proxy-Product Owner role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a self-organizing team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills within a dynamic team setting.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Visio and Project.

Preferred Skills:
While not required, the following skills are desirable:

  • Experience with custom software development projects.
  • Familiarity with DoD clients.
  • Experience in cybersecurity initiatives.
