Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) is dedicated to providing extensive support to the Navy in areas such as research, development, testing, evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration, and certification of intricate naval warfare systems. As NSWCDD continues its commitment to military testing and certification, it also offers fleet support services.


Role Responsibilities:

As a Cybersecurity Program Analyst, you will deliver essential administrative support for cybersecurity operations at NSWCDD.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in cybersecurity within a Department of Defense (DoD) or Federal Government setting, including responsibilities such as managing compliance information in systems like Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM), providing technical consultation on cybersecurity matters, maintaining accreditation records, and assisting in the creation of cybersecurity documentation.

Key Duties:

  • Offer Local Registration Authority (LRA) and Trusted Agent (TA) support, including both technical and administrative assistance in the issuance and management of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates and tokens.
  • Ensure compliance information is accurately recorded in systems such as the Vulnerability Remediation Asset Management (VRAM) database.
  • Develop and present training materials related to cybersecurity practices.
  • Review and maintain accreditation documentation.
  • Create ad-hoc reports that communicate critical information security and cybersecurity data.
  • Input relevant data into necessary databases and repositories.
  • Assist in the review and completion of Systems Authorization Access Request - Navy (SAAR-N) forms.
  • Gather information from cybersecurity personnel to prepare purchase requests for office supplies.
  • Review and provide guidance on requests for code-signing certificates.
  • Prepare for and engage in inspections, audits, and evaluations.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography to effectively serve as a Local Registration Authority for NSWCDD.
