Executive Chef Assistant

Sunset Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to lead our culinary team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for food, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
- Supervise and coordinate the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring high-quality presentation and service.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to accommodate special dietary requirements and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve exceptional results and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Monitor inventory and manage food costs to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and dietary guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy items as needed.
