Job Summary

First Bankers Trust Company is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bank Teller. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing banking transactions, and promoting the benefits of our banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute customer banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Answer customer questions, assist with customer requests, and resolve issues and problems.
  • Post transactions, pay out funds, verify cash, and perform other duties related to executing customer transactions.
  • Execute branch opening and closing duties, including cash and coin processing activities.
  • Participate in community events and promote the bank's products and services.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-6 months of related experience/exposure within the banking industry preferred.
  • Demonstrates aptitude for mathematical and/or financial transactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to execute day-to-day work under direct supervision.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

This position typically works in a professional office setting. The employee is regularly required to stand, move from one point to another, and use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear. The employee will occasionally sit, stoop, lift, kneel, or crouch in the course of completing their job.
