Job Overview

Huckabee is a leading A/E firm dedicated to transforming education through design. We're seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth and client relationships in the California education sector.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong network and relationships within the California education market, with a proven track record of achieving business development targets. They will work closely with firm leaders to develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies, identify emerging market trends, and cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with Huckabee's goals and objectives
  • Identify emerging market trends and potential clients
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Generate leads through networking, market research, and proactive outreach
  • Attend industry conferences and events
  • Present Huckabee's expertise, capabilities, and solutions to potential clients
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Office Directors to develop tailored solutions for pursuits

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development within the A/E/C industry
  • Prior marketing experience in the A/E/C industry with a focus on the California education market
  • Strong network and relationships within the California education sector
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong writing, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and a track record of achieving business development targets
  • Familiarity with relevant software and CRM tools
  • Exercise high degree of integrity and a commitment to the work and the company

Salary Range: $70,000 - $140,000
