Job Overview:

In the role of Assistant Culinary Manager, you will play a vital part in the effective management of the Culinary Department within our organization.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes, collaborating on daily menu development, and ensuring the presentation of food meets our high standards.

You will also supervise kitchen staff and work closely with the Executive Chef to design new menu offerings and manage inventory.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Chef in managing budgetary controls and monitoring expenses.
  • Assist in menu planning and creation.
  • Coordinate and execute catering events.
  • Implement new culinary initiatives in partnership with the marketing and culinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent culinary certification with relevant experience.
  • Progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management, based on formal education or training.
  • Experience in catering is advantageous.
  • Experience in high-volume, complex food service operations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with institutional and batch cooking practices is beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, emphasizing quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and email.
  • Willingness to engage in customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
