About the Role

Talis Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Marketing Director to lead our sales and marketing strategies, and create a culture of collaboration and trust. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven individual to oversee all aspects of the sales department, set strategic goals, and ensure the team's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Set sales goals and develop strategies to achieve them, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead and Motivate Sales Team: Mentor, manage, and motivate sales team members to achieve their full potential and drive sales growth.
  • Identify and Pursue New Growth Opportunities: Identify and act on new growth opportunities, working closely with the marketing and operations teams to optimize lead generation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations: Work with marketing and operations to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact.
  • Conduct Regular Sales Meetings and Training Sessions: Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions with the sales team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Develop and Maintain Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service and driving repeat business.
  • Prepare Sales Reports and Forecasts: Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required, providing accurate and timely data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Management Experience: Proven successful track record in a sales management role in the home building or related industry (industry preferred, but not required).
  • Experience Building and Leading Sales Teams: Experience building and leading successful sales teams, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strategic Thinker with Results-Driven Approach: Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach, able to set and achieve ambitious sales goals.
  • Business Administration or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • CRM Software and Sales Management Tools: Knowledge of CRM software and sales management tools, with the ability to leverage technology to drive sales growth.
