About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our team at Centene Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and expansion in our Medicare Advantage business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Plans: Create and implement sales plans to maximize enrollment growth in targeted markets.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with key external brokers, regional agencies, providers, and community partners to drive sales growth.
  • Implement Marketing Strategies: Design and execute marketing strategies to promote our Medicare Advantage products to specific geographic segments.
  • Manage Sales Distribution: Oversee sales distribution within assigned geographic segments to ensure optimal sales performance.
  • Lead Sales Training and Incentives: Develop and implement sales training and incentive programs to support targeted sales goals in emerging markets.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure departmental compliance with Company policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Interface with Community Leadership: Engage with targeted community leadership to drive sales growth in specific geographic segments.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal departments and associates to ensure alignment and consistency in working towards targeted goals.
Requirements
  • Medicare Advantage Experience: Strong experience in Medicare Advantage sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Marketing Guidelines: In-depth knowledge of Medicare marketing guidelines and regulations.
  • Managed Care Experience: Proven experience in managed care sales and marketing.
  • Salesforce Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Salesforce and its applications in sales and marketing.
  • Strong MS Office Skills: Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong Presentation Skills: Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
  • People Management Experience: Proven experience in people management and leadership.
  • Residence in Kentucky and Cincinnati, OH: Must reside in Kentucky and Cincinnati, OH.
  • 50% Field-Based Travel and 50% Remote: Must be willing to travel 50% of the time and work remotely 50% of the time.
License/Certification

Active health insurance license required. Requirements vary state by state.

Travel

This role requires a minimum of 75% field-based work. Overnight travel may be required based on territory/marketplace.
