Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support in a retail environment. This is a part-time position with up to 20 hours per week, offering a competitive hourly rate of $17.80.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and product knowledge.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Build productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers, providing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with company policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Tint and mix products as needed to customer specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting with deliveries as needed.
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options with customers.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction, contributing to the store's success.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
