Assistant Instructor/Instructor Fixed Term Position

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Instructor/Instructor Fixed Term in the School of Planning, Design & Construction at Michigan State University. The successful candidate will teach in the Graduate Certificate Program (GCP) Real Estate Development and Construction Certificate (REDC) with an expected start date of 8/16/2024.
Key Responsibilities- Teach PDC 853 - Real Estate Finance and Commercial Development (Fall Semester)
- Develop and deliver high-quality course materials and assessments
- Engage with students and provide individualized support
- Contribute to the development of the GCP REDC program
- Bachelor's degree for the Assistant Instructor rank and Master's degree for the Instructor rank in Construction Management, Real Estate, Business, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in real estate, construction, design, or a related field
- Teaching experience in Real Estate or Construction Management courses is preferred
- Experience with diversity and inclusion in teaching and professional activities
- Ability to contribute to MSU's goals of inclusive excellence
