Position Overview:
The Michigan State University Department of Advertising and Public Relations is looking for qualified candidates for the role of Assistant Instructor/Instructor/Assistant Professor on a fixed-term basis.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidates will possess a strong foundation in strategic communications and demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse educational atmosphere. Responsibilities will include teaching various courses in advertising and public relations at multiple academic levels, with opportunities for both in-person and online instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering courses at lower, upper, and master's levels

- Ensuring adherence to established course policies
This role is initially offered as a one-year appointment, with the potential for renewal contingent upon performance and funding. Compensation will be aligned with the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Candidates with a Doctorate in Advertising, Public Relations, or Communications are highly preferred, along with a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience. Additional attributes such as management experience and notable achievements will be viewed favorably.
