Key Responsibilities- Craft Recommendations: Develop data-driven recommendations for senior executives to make pricing decisions that impact growth and bottom-line performance.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design, and Sales teams to develop a winning portfolio strategy for each Oscar market.
- Identify Profitability Tradeoffs: Research profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to inform company-wide strategic decisions.
- Support Model Development: Build models and tooling that produce actionable business insights, including membership scenario modeling.
- Report Intra-Year Membership Analytics: Provide regular reporting on intra-year membership analytics to leadership to understand the health of the business.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- A bachelor's degree or 4+ years of commensurate experience.
- 1+ years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, market development, finance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in Excel and PowerPoint, demonstrating proficiency in building models and generating reports, analyzing large datasets, using pivot tables, formulas, and conditional formatting.
- 1+ years of experience synthesizing and summarizing findings through data visualizations and effective storytelling.
- 1+ years of experience running data and financial analyses and working cross-functionally to drive opportunities and increase growth & profitability.
- 1+ years of experience constructing presentation materials aimed at Senior Leadership.
- Healthcare experience and an understanding of provider/payer market, particularly in the ACA marketplace, is strongly preferred.
- Management consulting, market research, or data analysis experience.
- Experience with Tableau.
