Senior Pricing Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our growing team at adMarketplace. This role will be responsible for leading major projects to deliver scalable solutions addressing our most significant business challenges and drive key decisions through data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to organize large data sets to answer critical questions, extrapolate trends, and tell a story. They will also have highly proficient knowledge of Excel, experience with SQL and databases, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. You will also partner with the product team and other stakeholders to support and manage data projects of varying scales, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the synthesis of complex raw data into actionable insights that drive business results and inform strategic decisions
- Identify and analyze key trends and opportunities for various business teams and effectively communicate findings in a simple, compelling manner
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our data landscape, partner with business leads to provide data sets and ad hoc reporting to solve day-to-day issues or answer key questions from our business teams
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
- Build reports and tableau dashboards via our new business intelligence platform
- Partner with the product team and other stakeholders to support and manage data projects of varying scales, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, BI, CS, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- 2 + years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Proven ability to organize large data sets to answer critical questions, extrapolate trends, and tell a story
- Highly proficient knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and advanced functions)
- Experience with SQL and databases
- Python and other scripting languages is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations
- Strong understanding of key business drivers and the ability to maintain attention to detail while seeing the broader picture
- A proactive approach to professional growth and a keen interest in staying abreast of industry trends and advancements
- Experience in the advertising industry is a significant advantage
