About the Role

Jordan Park Group is seeking a skilled Senior Portfolio Analyst to support the Portfolio Management Team in the operations, oversight, and management of the underlying portfolio investments of clients. This role will involve daily implementation, rebalancing, and execution of client portfolio investments across Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), ETFs, and Mutual Funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor portfolio positioning, trade executions, cash management, and compliance within client guidelines and/or restrictions.
  • Use proprietary tools and data management systems to rebalance and optimize clients' portfolios.
  • Collaborate with Client Coverage/Investment Teams to address client requests and manage events throughout the client's lifecycle.
  • Communicate with Sub-advisors and Fund Managers to facilitate their funding and account setup, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support ongoing efforts to optimize the trading and portfolio management systems.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Compliance Managers to document procedures and monitor that portfolios are following investment guidelines and mandates.
  • Support the broader team across Public, Private, and Alternative asset classes.
  • Assist Portfolio Managers with the implementation and execution of investments held within Jordan Park Group's investment vehicles.
  • Identify weaknesses in existing workflows and propose more efficient processes.
  • Assist with client account onboarding and structuring by determining strategies that are in line with the client's objectives.
About You

This role may be suitable for individuals with a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant work experience. Candidates should be comfortable working market hours and have experience in Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations, or client service. Proficiency in trading/order management systems and reporting systems is also required. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work well both independently and as part of a team, and will be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications include a deep understanding of Equity and Fixed Income markets, as well as experience using Python, SQL, VBA, or APIs to schedule, automate, and streamline tasks and processes. Familiarity with Addepar for analysis and reporting is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation at Jordan Park Group includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits, and other perks. The expected base salary for this role will range from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses, and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
