This role involves leading the development and management of technology solutions that meet federal regulatory reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve significant business outcomes and ensure compliance with federal regulatory reporting standards.
  • Guarantee that all finance technology solutions adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements, while staying updated on regulatory changes and adjusting technology solutions and processes as necessary.
  • Oversee the deployment and upkeep of reporting systems and tools, ensuring precise and timely data collection, processing, and automated report generation.
  • Establish and uphold technology governance related to data quality and control measures.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technology professionals, conducting performance evaluations and providing guidance for career development.
  • Identify and implement technology process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in regulatory reporting, including innovative automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with various departments including finance, data management, and governance, ensuring effective communication with senior management and external partners.
  • Manage projects associated with regulatory reporting changes and technology implementations, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of extensive experience in regulatory reporting or financial services, with a strong grasp of regulatory reporting systems and governance frameworks.
  • Proven leadership experience managing regulatory reporting technology for large banking programs.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling and design, with experience delivering technology solutions for regulatory requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
