Role Overview
We are looking for a Director of Software Engineering to spearhead the development and management of technology solutions that align with federal regulatory reporting requirements. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to financial regulations, enhancing reporting processes, and leading a team of skilled technology professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a strategic technology vision and roadmap to achieve regulatory reporting objectives.
2. Ensure compliance of all financial technology solutions with state and federal regulations, adapting to changes as necessary.
3. Oversee the implementation and upkeep of reporting systems, ensuring accurate data collection and timely report generation.
4. Establish and maintain governance protocols related to data quality and control measures.
5. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technology experts, providing performance evaluations and career development support.
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in regulatory reporting.
7. Collaborate with various departments to communicate effectively with senior management and external partners.
8. Manage projects related to regulatory reporting changes and technology implementations, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of extensive experience in regulatory reporting or financial services, with a strong grasp of reporting systems and governance frameworks.
- Proven leadership experience in managing regulatory reporting technology for large-scale banking programs.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and design for banking regulatory solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
