POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Program Coordinator will oversee a variety of initiatives and assignments that bolster the objectives of Bass Pro Shops as well as specific site-related projects. This role will act as a bridge between corporate operations and field teams, providing regular updates on project advancements to supervisors and senior management as necessary. The Coordinator will play a key role in enhancing and refining systems, processes, and protocols while ensuring a steadfast commitment to exceptional customer service for all Outfitters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the execution of Bass Pro Shops initiatives and localized projects to meet defined project objectives.
  • Participate in and evaluate project proposals to ascertain suitable timelines, budget constraints, methodologies for project completion, staffing needs, and allocation of resources.
  • Outline and design project activities, either initiating new ones or utilizing existing frameworks.
  • Engage with and coordinate project efforts with the project sponsor at a tactical level.
  • Oversee the comprehensive progress of projects through various stages of development.
  • PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Educational Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Project Management and/or Retail Management is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Competence in performing calculations involving discounts, commissions, and percentages.
  • Ability to identify issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Capability to interpret various financial, legal, and technical documents.
  • Proficient in reading and analyzing reports, as well as drafting reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and address inquiries from company leadership, managers, and team members.
  • Skilled in conducting meetings and presentations for both large and small audiences.
  • Proficient in PC-based word processing, spreadsheet applications, and database management systems, with the ability to learn and apply new systems relevant to the role or projects being managed.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, customers, and corporate staff.

  • Regularly engages in computer work and sedentary activities.

  • Formulates objectives and general policies for specific programs or functional areas within the broader scope of established operational goals and plans. Daily tasks and decisions do not necessitate direct oversight from immediate supervisors, with outcomes reviewed by management.
