Job Summary

BGIS is seeking a skilled Program Manager - Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Remote, US. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics and program activities to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics and program activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Review and approve capacity requests to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Evaluate capacity requests and ensure that necessary space, power, and infrastructure meet requirements for incoming hardware.
  • Collaborate with client's Data Center Services team to build out new space and infrastructure if existing environment is not capable of satisfying capacity request.
  • Provide ticket priorities to Sites Services team members as needed.
  • Coordinate with Regional Sites Services team members to assist with prioritization of work based on workload and business requirements.
  • Assist in project coordination duties related to decommissioning of hardware in various data centers.
  • Contribute to completion of other key initiatives as assigned.
Client Support
  • Provide quarterly hardware readouts to client's Data Center Services team by attending quarterly Capacity meetings.
  • Lead weekly Data Center Services client meeting pertaining to current and incoming hardware projects.
  • Report progress, risks, and issue resolution in weekly/bi-weekly status meetings.
  • Provide documentation/project tracking and management reporting as required.
  • Research, resolve, and respond to complex problems and questions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to focus efforts of diverse departments and team members to complete projects with shared goals.
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities employing multiple perspectives and higher-level strategic impact.
  • Relationship building talent within the organization and with external clients and vendors.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
