Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Education Program Specialist. This role will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the day-to-day operations of our fellowship program, ensuring seamless execution of academic and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection processes for fellows, including scheduling and responding to applicant inquiries.
  • Update program policy manuals, procedure manuals, and recruitment materials as requested by Program Directors.
  • Assist with orientation and curriculum materials for fellows.
  • Manage information and data for fellowship program websites, maintain confidential documents, and assist with reporting functions using Graduate Medical Education software.
  • Prepare for and participate in accreditation site visits, ensuring compliance with ACGME, RRC, and American Board requirements.
  • Track fellow evaluations and conference attendance, compile information for annual evaluations, and maintain confidential resident performance evaluations.
  • Assist with creating and distributing fellows' block rotation schedules, conference schedules, call schedules, clinic schedules, and lecture schedules.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years of progressively more responsible clerical or secretarial experience, including a background in electronic word processing and database management systems.
