Minimum Qualifications: Three years of experience performing clerical, keyboarding, or paraprofessional work in an office environment.
Qualified employee of New York State and have had 45 days of permanent competitive, non-competitive, or 55-b/55-c service in an office assistant, clerical, keyboarding, or paraprofessional* title allocated to Grade 6 or higher.
Responsibilities:
- Review health insurance enrollment, cancellation, or changes documents for completeness; request, document, and follow up on missing information; and verify information by navigating the internet to access external websites and searching internal databases.
- Perform data entry, including saving and verification of saved data.
- Assist employees with all health insurance needs both via the telephone and in writing.
- Other activities and projects as requested to support health insurance transactions.
Reconstructing time sheets for missing overtime
Participate in other special projects as assigned.
The Human Resources Office works in a team setting creating a collaborative environment which supports staff growth and development.
