Job Summary

The Institute for Community Living, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to our program staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client records, operating and coordinating the management information system, and maintaining accounting and budget records for recipient and program expenditures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of office procedures and practices, with the ability to use office equipment and software applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information
  • Operate and coordinate the management information system
  • Maintain accounting and budget records for recipient and program expenditures
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to program staff
  • Perform reception duties, including answering phones and greeting visitors
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • At least two years of clerical or secretarial experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of office procedures and practices
  • Ability to use office equipment and software applications
