Job Summary

The Associate Director, Live Partnerships will play a critical role in developing and managing go-to-market strategies and resources for our expanding Axios Live portfolio at the global, national, and local levels. This includes identifying, securing, and tracking new revenue opportunities, as well as collaborating with the Event Operations team to manage inventory and ensure a seamless transition from pre-sale to post-sale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation and updating of marketing materials, internal resources, and communication.
  • Support the sales team in addressing client inquiries and responding to RFPs.
  • Develop outreach campaigns, identify qualified prospects, and craft tailored communications.
  • Manage Axios Live event revenue pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the Event Operations team to manage inventory and ensure a seamless transition from pre-sale to post-sale.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in media and/or event sales, client relations, sponsorships.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong client-facing and customer service skills, with a keen commercial instinct to support our business development efforts.
  • Strong project management skills and sales fundamentals.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving needs of a high growth sales team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and an ability to prioritize effectively.
