Position Overview

Blue Mountain Construction Services is seeking a qualified Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in steering the financial direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the formulation, execution, and oversight of comprehensive financial reporting and forecasting strategies.
  • Supervise the accounting department's functions, ensuring precise financial reporting, project accounting, and management of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Establish and uphold financial policies and procedures to facilitate informed financial decision-making.
  • Safeguard company assets by implementing and enforcing robust internal controls.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations by staying updated on legislative changes and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Oversee equipment management by coordinating maintenance schedules and evaluating new equipment acquisitions.
  • Protect the confidentiality of financial data and operational strategies.
Financial Analysis

Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements and Pro Forma reports to forecast future revenues, expenses, and cash flows, providing valuable insights into operational efficiency.

Team Leadership

Schedule and delegate tasks to team members, monitor performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and feedback.

Audit and Compliance

Perform audits, assess financial health, prepare budgets, and analyze financial data to produce reports that highlight the organization's financial status and trends.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years in a senior financial role within a significant corporation or division.
  • A profound understanding of financial management principles, including Pro Forma analysis.
  • The ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively, including reliable transportation to various job sites.

  • Proper vehicle registration.
  • California's minimum automobile insurance coverage.
