Test Automation Specialist

About the Team:
The Software and Services division at VIZIO is on the lookout for a skilled QA Project Manager to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with team members to drive innovation in VIZIO's product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute UI and API test scripts for television automation utilizing Java and JavaScript.
- Employ various automation tools to create, test, and implement automation solutions.
- Construct logical frameworks based on automation methodologies.
- Identify and resolve script and functional issues through debugging and troubleshooting.
- Conduct automation test executions and perform analyses to detect script and functional discrepancies.
- Facilitate coordination and technical discussions with the development team.
- Participate in code reviews and integrate feedback effectively.
- Offer automation solutions to overcome technical challenges.

About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in automation.
- Proficient in API Testing and Automation using tools like Postman and Rest Assured Java.
- Experience with Web and Mobile Automation through Selenium WebDriver.
- Familiarity with TV UI automation is preferred.
- Skilled in configuration management tools such as GIT, GitHub, and Git Bash.
- Knowledgeable in automation frameworks including BDD Cucumber, Page Object Model, and Data-Driven Testing.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript, along with unit testing frameworks like TestNG.
- Good understanding of development and build tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, and Maven.
- Experience in establishing CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Bug and Test Management Tools such as JIRA and Test Rails.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
