Job Overview

BluSky Restoration Contractors is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. Our Project Managers play a vital role in the success of our organization by ensuring exceptional customer service and high-quality work. What is the role of a Project Manager? They oversee the restoration of structures. Compensation Range: Base Salary - $60,000-$105,000, Commission - $30,000-$60,000 + Vehicle Allowance. POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Manager in BluSky's construction division is accountable for the daily oversight of all assigned restoration projects. This includes, but is not limited to, customer interaction, vendor selection, material procurement, scheduling, budgeting, financial reporting, safety compliance, and quality assurance. The Project Manager collaborates closely with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to guarantee maximum customer satisfaction. Participation in an On-Call Team is required, with occasional night and weekend duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Field Management Establish rapport with project stakeholders and instill confidence in your management capabilities. Execute all contracted scopes following industry Best Practices. Ensure all work is appropriately contracted or subcontracted. Secure necessary building permits and adhere to all regulatory guidelines. Comply with OSHA and environmental regulations. Assist the Project Director with modifications to contracts. Supervise site personnel and subcontractors, promoting safety, quality, and productivity. Successfully manage buyout processes, quality control, safety compliance, scheduling, and project closeout. Maintain the highest level of customer communication and service. Deliver an outstanding customer experience. Ensure project work meets superior standards of craftsmanship. Perform additional duties as assigned. Office Management Ensure all subcontractors operate under proper agreements, adhering to Best Practices. Approve or reject invoices with appropriate communication to the project team. Accurately project, record, and maintain all project costs on budget worksheets. Provide daily and/or weekly updates to the project team and clients, including visual documentation. Meet or exceed revenue and profit margin targets set by BluSky. Develop, update, and present project schedules to clients, the Project Director, and the VP on a weekly basis. Mentor and train junior team members. Represent BluSky professionally during emergency on-call management. Track modifications and additional costs on projects through signed change orders and budget updates. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in construction project management. Expertise in construction project management, financials, processes, and administration. Strong business ethics and integrity, with the ability to work autonomously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in computer and technology applications. Ability to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders and local authorities. Preferred: OSHA 10 or 30, CPR, and First Aid certifications. Preferred: Experience in multi-family, hotel, and multi-building facility construction. Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish. EDUCATION: Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: The Project Manager must be willing to travel as workload demands, including some out-of-area and overnight travel.
