Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- 2-5 years of experience in construction management or quality assurance related tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with the design team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with local permitting processes (stormwater management, land development, etc.).
- Proven experience in client relationship management and direct client interactions.
Responsibilities
As a Construction EIT, your contributions will include:
Supporting the Project Manager in all aspects of project delivery.
Planning, directing, and overseeing all elements of large multidisciplinary projects or medium-sized projects with significant technical complexity, typically involving a large project team.
Coordinating and monitoring action items and budgets throughout all phases of a facility project, including strategic planning, permitting, design, construction, and project closeout.
Receiving, issuing, and tracking Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and other necessary documentation.
Interpreting and understanding construction drawings with clarity.
Collaborating with project accountants to prepare invoices and monthly financial reports.
Coordinating with subcontractors, developing subcontract agreements, and managing subcontractor budgets.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate.
