Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Agent to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and courteous service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by effectively managing room assignments and ensuring accurate billing.
  • Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.
  • Ensure the efficient handling of packages, mail, and messages for guests and meeting rooms.
  • Review and maintain accurate records of front office activities, including the Front Office log and Trace File.
  • Utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills to resolve guest complaints and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or related field is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
