Key Responsibilities

  • Review project plans and specifications to develop and execute the quality assurance plan.
  • Create checklists for definable work features requiring quality inspections.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and project schedules as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Support the preparation of statements of work, submittals, change management, and necessary reporting.
  • Promote safety in construction operations and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Inspect equipment, materials, workmanship, and completed construction.
  • Monitor work progress in the field to ensure compliance with productivity and schedules.
  • Observe ongoing work to confirm that procedures are followed and materials meet specifications.
  • Develop and uphold quality control and assurance (QAQC) procedures.
  • Coordinate material and inventory monitoring as well as equipment tracking.
  • Assist crews with their material, tooling, and equipment requirements.
  • Support the project manager with client submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Facilitate communication between office staff and field personnel.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform essential functions at designated office or field locations.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, along with industry-specific professional and ethical standards.

Candidate Profile:
Qualifications

  • 6 to 18 months of relevant experience in field construction management is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a related field; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Willingness to travel extensively for extended periods.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret relevant construction documents.
  • Proven capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Enjoyment of working in an outdoor construction setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of processes conducted in both field and office environments.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $51,700 - $77,500 per year, commensurate with experience, paid weekly. The posted salary ranges are made in good faith, and the company reserves the right to adjust ranges based on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
