Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive professional to fill the role of Senior Human Resources Generalist. This position is integral to the development and enhancement of our Human Resources function within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in the recruitment and onboarding of professional staff, collaborating with management to create diverse recruitment strategies and utilizing various channels for job postings.
  • Provide interpretation and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and regulations to assist both management and employees.
  • Design and implement effective onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Propose new strategies and policies to improve the efficiency of HR services.
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding payroll, employee benefits, and national HR initiatives to ensure seamless communication.
  • Support employee relations through counseling, mediation, and investigations, while addressing grievances under the guidance of senior management.
  • Maintain expertise in HR systems, particularly Paylocity.
  • Administer Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and California Family Rights Act (CFRA) processes, including tracking and coordinating leave requests.
  • Facilitate accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).
  • Participate in training and development initiatives for staff, including customizing content and gathering feedback.
  • Assist in the administration of policies, including drafting and updating employee handbooks.
  • Contribute to the annual performance review process for staff.
  • Conduct market research and analyze compensation data.
  • Oversee the employee exit process, including HRIS data management and conducting exit interviews.
  • Provide HR support and guidance to various offices as needed.
  • Continuously seek to enhance knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to foster effective working relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on hiring and retaining top talent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
