Job Purpose:

As an integral member of the Portfolio Management Analytics Data & Platform team within the global Institutional Credit Management (ICM) division, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of extensive data solutions that strengthen our organization's risk management frameworks. Your proficiency will significantly contribute to refining our data-centric decision-making processes, ensuring effective and robust risk management throughout the firm.

Job Background/Context:

The ICM team serves as a crucial element of Citigroup's First Line of Defense for wholesale and counterparty credit risk management. Collaborating with Independent Risk teams, ICM aims to uphold superior standards in risk management, controls, and client engagement. The group’s primary responsibilities encompass stress testing, exposure oversight, risk identification, and credit evaluation. ICM aligns with credit management teams across various ICG sectors to ensure comprehensive alignment with business and regulatory objectives, as well as consistency and best practices where applicable.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement large-scale data flows customized to business requirements for Portfolio Health Monitoring, Covenant Monitoring, Exception Management, Limits Management, Early Warning Credit Management, and Counterparty Credit Risk Management.
  • Engage with extensive and intricate data sets, both internal and external, to assess, propose, and facilitate the execution of credit risk strategies utilizing diverse programming tools.
  • Ensure adherence to all Risk and Control mandates throughout the technical workflow, including documentation, testing, and continuous performance evaluation.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in data engineering, Hadoop development, advanced analytics, or modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience with large and complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with data engineering methodologies and tools such as Spark, SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.
  • Understanding and practical experience in data management, including data pipelines, data structures, and data quality governance.
  • Proficient in Agile project management tools, including Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, science, or a related discipline.

$121,000 - $181,800.00
