Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst - Enterprise Risk

Position Overview

We are in search of a highly skilled professional to become an integral part of our risk management team, focusing on investment analysis and providing support to senior executives in capital allocation and risk management strategies. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of analytical frameworks that yield insights into risk factors and alpha drivers within our investment portfolios, effectively communicating these insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst will undertake comprehensive research on risk-related topics, including sources of returns, common factor exposures, and potential market disruptions. You will be tasked with disseminating these insights to the broader management team and integrating them into analytical models to mitigate the risk of significant drawdowns while informing the firm's capital allocation strategy. Additionally, you will explore and incorporate new datasets utilized by proprietary models and risk management systems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative trading or risk management
  • A proven history of innovative problem-solving
  • Experience in constructing and maintaining equity factor models
  • A strong desire to learn and explore new concepts in quantitative finance
  • Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python or R
  • Solid mathematical and statistical modeling skills, including knowledge of matrix algebra and linear analysis
  • Ability to analyze large datasets with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
We would appreciate if you also have:
  • Experience with a diverse range of equity, credit, FX, and interest rate products, including their derivatives
