POSITION SUMMARY
We appreciate your interest in this opportunity. The Human Resources Coordinator position offers a unique chance to embark on a career in human resources within an educational environment.

This role will act as a vital support to the Human Resources Director, collaborating closely to oversee a range of HR-related administrative functions and initiatives.

This position reports directly to the Human Resources Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Human Resources Coordinator will undertake the following responsibilities, along with any additional tasks assigned by the Human Resources Director:

  • Oversee the Human Resources communication channels, responding to common inquiries from applicants and staff regarding standard policies, benefits, and hiring procedures; escalate complex queries to senior HR personnel as necessary.
  • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of human resources documentation and maintain organized employee records.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR files to confirm that all essential documents are collected and properly filed.
  • Handle HRIS transactions as required.
  • Generate HR reports for internal and external use.
  • Prepare HR-related documents and process Personnel Action Requests.
  • Update staff directories and organizational charts as needed.
  • Support the payroll department by providing necessary employee information.
  • Manage departmental expense reports and track financial transactions.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of recurring HR initiatives and events, including benefits enrollment and training sessions.
  • Provide assistance for various HR projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in human resources is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments.
  • Dependability, humility, and a sense of humor are essential.
  • Successful completion of a TB test and background check is required upon offer.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The starting hourly wage for this role is $25.00.
