The Academic Personnel Specialist is integral to the operational success of the UCLA Outpatient Clinics. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at overseeing and facilitating academic personnel functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage academic recruitment processes and oversee personnel administration.
- Coordinate leave administration, benefits, and employee relations.
- Handle payroll management and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
- Serve as the primary resource for academic personnel policies and procedures.
- Facilitate credentialing, privileging, and visa processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years of expertise in academic personnel administration.
- In-depth knowledge of university-wide academic personnel policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with payroll systems such as UCPath or PeopleSoft.
- Familiarity with recruitment systems like Academic Recruit.
- Knowledge of dossier management systems.
