Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Logistics will be a seasoned, strategic leader responsible for overseeing our logistics operations. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is integral to the Operations Leadership Team. You will work in close collaboration with various leaders across the organization to meet business goals and guarantee a seamless customer journey. We seek a dynamic visionary capable of advancing our organization while maintaining a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Vision: Articulate and disseminate the vision for Comoto's logistics framework, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee fulfillment, reverse logistics, and transportation functions across multiple locations, ensuring optimal efficiency, scalability, and uniformity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Spearhead projects aimed at refining systems and processes, promoting ongoing enhancement and operational excellence.
  • Innovative Culture: Encourage a culture of innovation within the logistics division, fostering new ideas and methodologies to elevate operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership Development: Nurture a positive, motivated team environment. Guide and develop managers and their teams.
  • Customer Focus: Prioritize delivering an outstanding customer experience through precise and efficient logistics practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold quality benchmarks across all logistics operations to ensure high accuracy and reliability.
  • Financial Oversight: Formulate and manage budgets and operational plans for logistics and transportation, ensuring financial objectives are achieved.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Lead discussions with suppliers, vendors, and partners to secure advantageous terms and optimal outcomes for the organization.
  • Compliance & Safety: Provide guidance on labor matters, including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications:

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Experience: Over 12 years in logistics management, with a proven history in eCommerce/retail consumer fulfillment.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, with experience managing operations across multiple sites.
  • Process Improvement Expertise: Proficient in performance metrics and lean methodologies, committed to ongoing enhancement.
  • Visionary Mindset: A broad-thinking leader who is also willing to engage in daily operational tasks.
