About the Role

Servicon, a leading environmental solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the implementation of safety protocols and manage staff training in accordance with Company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client and Staff Interaction: Interact frequently with clients and staff in a professional and responsive manner, consistent with Servicon's company policies, values, mission, and objectives.
  • Safety Protocol Implementation: Ensure safety protocols are fully implemented and followed within facilities. Inspect and evaluate all areas serviced by assigned staff for safety and janitorial excellence.
  • Staff Management and Training: Supervise, manage, and train janitorial staff consistent with client and company expectations. Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure all work has been completed in compliance with specific procedures and scope of work.
  • Janitorial Policy Execution: Execute janitorial policies, procedures, and changes to ensure sustainable and cost-effective use of staff's time, supplies, equipment, and processes.
  • Project Management Support: Support the Director of Operations and execute the full range of required management responsibilities. Produce monthly calendars of quality assurance evaluations, gather statistics, and produce account-related reports.
  • Problem-Solving and Efficiency: Understand that challenges are opportunities and provide effective solutions to assist Project Managers in resolving janitorial and scheduling issues, as well as provide recommendations for improved efficiencies.
Requirements
  • US Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Managerial Experience: Minimum of four (4) years relevant managerial experience in Facility Services or a related field.
  • Service and Quality Standards: Strong commitment to high-level service and quality standards.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop, and lead a team.
  • Computer Proficiency: Efficient computer knowledge, proficiency in utilizing all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Union Contract Experience: Experience working with union contracts is preferred.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen: A criminal background check, results of which are not necessarily a bar to employment, and a drug screen are required.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, and a driving record that aligns with company standards.
