Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor is responsible for achieving sales objectives through effective oversight and delegation of store and operational responsibilities. This role includes leadership tasks assigned by the store manager.

Team Development:

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance associate performance.
  • Create schedules that optimize sales outcomes.
  • Establish clear expectations for performance and accountability among team members.
  • Ensure comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training for all associates.
  • Manage performance fairly and effectively as directed by the store manager.

Sales Leadership:

  • Model and promote exceptional customer service and sales standards.
  • Drive sales initiatives to achieve goals during scheduled shifts.
  • Facilitate team communication to ensure all associates are focused on sales objectives.
  • Develop a loyal customer base through engagement and effective communication.
  • Oversee workforce management to ensure optimal sales floor coverage.

Brand Representation:

  • Make informed decisions to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing store.
  • Lead the execution of merchandising strategies to enhance the customer experience.
  • Foster an environment that prioritizes outstanding in-store shopping experiences.
  • Implement company sales strategies consistently.
  • Ensure compliance with store standards and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee inventory management processes.
  • Manage expenses effectively.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures, including financial transactions and shipment processing.
  • Act as the manager on duty to resolve customer service and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to support action plans for optimal results.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Incorporate loss prevention and safety protocols into daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to a customer-centric culture.
  • Ability to provide immediate coaching to team members.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and peak periods.
  • Previous experience in sales management is preferred.
