About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Child Welfare Professional to join our team at Amara. As a key member of our Resource Care team, you will play a critical role in supporting families and children in achieving positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in child welfare, social services, or a related field, and will be able to work effectively with families, professionals, and other stakeholders to address complex issues and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the needs of foster caregivers and children, and provide tailored support and services
  • Collaborate with the Licensing and Home Study team to ensure smooth family license maintenance processes
  • Promote collaboration and partnerships among multiple stakeholders in the child welfare arena
Requirements:
  • A BSW or equivalent degree in social services or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience in child welfare or social services
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • An annual salary range of $57,000-$73,000, depending on experience
