Job Overview

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting the development of young children. As an Early Learning Assistant Teacher, you will work collaboratively with a teaching team to provide comprehensive child development services.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Early Learning Assistant Teacher.
  • You will assist in providing child development services, building positive relationships with families, and promoting healthy development in children.
  • Responsibilities include conducting child development screenings, maintaining documentation, and participating in center family events.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a current Child Development Associate (CDA) in infant/toddler or preschool preferred upon hire. Required within first year of employment.
  • One-year work experience in a childcare or child development classroom.
  • One-year experience in working with children and parents from a culturally diverse and low-income backgrounds.

Benefits:

  • The salary range for this position is $21.49 - $29. The starting salary range for this position is $21.49 - $23.37 DOE for external candidates.
  • Employees will also receive 10 days of vacation leave each year, three Employee Appreciation Day each year, and will accrue one sick day per month (pro-rated for part-time employees).
  • Employees will also enjoy 15 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. We also offer EAP and mental health benefits.
