Job Overview

The Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE) plays a pivotal role in overseeing instrumentation specifications for military and commercial engines during the Development Assembly & Component Test phases. Reporting directly to the Senior Operation Management Staff Manager, this position is integral to project management.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE), your primary duties will include:

  • Managing instrumentation specifications effectively.
  • Overseeing cost and scheduling related to engines and any additional details requested via a Test Project Sheet (TPS).
  • Daily collaboration with various teams including Instrumentation, Design, Systems, Assembly, Engineering, Evaluation, Testing, Tooling, and Project Personnel, as well as the hourly workforce.
  • Engaging in activities that facilitate the scheduling and execution of development engines while prioritizing Integrity, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and overall Cost Initiatives.
  • Utilizing software tools such as IDS, IWS, eTPS, Open Plan, Digital Thread, Intelligence, Digital Workbench, VIS mock-up, and various access databases.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Production Processes and Equipment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the capability to obtain necessary clearance.
