Job Overview

The Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE) is a pivotal role within our organization, reporting directly to the Senior Operation Management Staff Manager. This position is centered around overseeing instrumentation specifications for both military and commercial engines during the Development Assembly & Component Test phases.

Key Responsibilities:

In the capacity of Instrumentation Program Engineer (IPE), your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the management of instrumentation specifications
  • Monitoring costs and schedules related to engines, along with any supplementary data requested via a Test Project Sheet (TPS)
  • Engaging daily with various teams including Instrumentation, Design, Systems, Assembly, Engineering, Evaluation, Testing, Tooling, and Project Personnel, in addition to the hourly workforce
  • Participating in activities that facilitate the scheduling and execution of development engines, with a focus on Integrity, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and overall Cost Initiatives
  • Utilizing software tools such as IDS, IWS, eTPS, Open Plan, Digital Thread, Intelligence, Digital Workbench, VIS mock-up, and various access databases
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing
  • At least 3 years of experience in Production Processes and Equipment
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining clearance
