Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician III to join our team at TriMedx. This role requires a strong background in biomedical equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of complex medical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, and electrical safety inspections on highly complex biomedical equipment and systems.
  • Repair, install, and calibrate biomedical equipment and systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with administrative, medical, and clinical staff to ensure the safe use and proper operation of clinical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration activities.
  • Contribute to department improvement and development by mentoring other associates and participating in special projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
  • Complex computer skills, including system administration, error code interpretation, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Certification (CBET) preferred.
