Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Equipment Technician to ensure the safe and effective operation of dialysis equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and adhering to infection control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Repair, calibrate, and maintain dialysis equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Water Safety and Reprocessing: Know and follow AAMI standards for water safety and reprocessing.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory functions as assigned.
- Documentation: Document repairs and maintenance according to DCI and clinic policy.
- Air Quality Testing: Test and document air quality, taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Hazardous Chemicals and Medical Waste: Know and follow proper usage, storage, and disposal procedures for hazardous chemicals and medical waste.
- Infection Control: Strictly observe infection control procedures.
- Facility Maintenance: Complete minor building maintenance and coordinate necessary facility repairs with nurse manager, AOD, and vendors.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement activities and risk management programs.
Requirements
- Pay range from $18.50-$26.38 per hour, depending on technical equipment and dialysis experience.
- Up to 12 weeks' paid training.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
