Material Handling Specialist

Nesco Resource is actively looking for skilled Material Handling Specialists to join a leading Automotive Plastics manufacturer.
Shift Options:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM - $15.50 per hour
Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM - $17.00 per hour
This organization is a comprehensive provider of both interior and exterior injection molded plastic parts and assemblies, delivering innovative solutions for automotive plastic applications to original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers.
Core Responsibilities
The primary function is to execute semi-skilled assembly, operate machinery, and engage in general production and warehouse tasks. Operate forklifts to manage materials within the facility.
Key Duties & Qualifications
- Previous production experience is preferred.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to interpret blueprints and instructions.
- Proficient in using tools (e.g., clamps) and machinery (e.g., presses) as well as forklifts.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards.
- Conduct inspections, trimming, and packing of component parts in accordance with work instructions and training protocols.
- Experience with stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts is necessary, but training will be provided.
- Stack, label, pack, and transport completed work items.
- Ensure a safe and tidy work environment.
- Complete necessary documentation.
- Possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exhibit excellent hand-eye coordination and physical fitness.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
