Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive understanding of current local, state, and federal regulations
  • Ensure employees follow all company policies and procedures
  • Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff
  • Participate in creating learning and development programs and initiatives
  • Oversee coordinating and assisting managers with employee reviews and performance appraisals
  • Assist with aligning the department with current and projected company needs
  • Train employees to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles efficiently
  • Maintain and encourage professional, open, and ongoing communication with staff and vendors
  • Travel when necessary to conduct SJB business
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have 5 years of Human Resources experience
  • Must have 3 years of management experience
  • Must be in good health as verified by a current health screening
  • Must possess California Driver's License and meet minimum insurance requirements
  • Current pediatric CPR and First Aid certificate from an approved vendor required
  • Completion of Mandated Reporter Training as per Assembly Bill 1207
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual/Biliterate a plus
  • Supervisory experience necessary with background in child development or early childhood education
